In Florida, Two Charged with DUI Accident
Florida – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two people have been arrested following a fatal car crash on May 9. Leah Whidden, 37, was charged with one count of DUI manslaughter, and Jonathan Linder, 27, was charged with misdemeanor DUI.
Investigators say that Whidden’s Jeep spun out of control and struck a vehicle driven by Linder. Linder refused to give a breath sample and was arrested on probable cause. Whidden’s blood alcohol level at the time of the crash was 0.106, above the legal limit of 0.08.
Whidden was booked into Florida’s Polk County Jail.
